He graduated from Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab and completed his Masters in Physiology from Government Medical College, Patiala, Punjab. He has been awarded with “Best Reviewer for 2022” for Annals of Internal Medicine by the American College of Physicians and with the highly coveted “Lung India 2011 Award for Outstanding Original Research Article” by the Indian Chest Society and is also the co-author of another popular title, Certification Logbook for Competencies in Clinical Physiology for Phase-I MBBS.
