Here are the features that I really liked about this book: 1) At the very start of the book, the entire competency table of Forensic Medicine is given perfectly. So, I can consult the table to mark the topics that I have already done and the ones I still need to do. 2) It is written in a question-answer pattern, so it is very useful for preparing for our semester exams and Professional exams too. 3) The images given in this book are absolutely amazing. The skull suture image has all the marking made perfectly. 4) The MCQs at the back of each chapter makes us confident about approaching FMT in the NExT pattern. 5) The tables make it very easy to remember the topics of FMT as this is a very volatile subject.

I recently came across a new book for forensics by Theime publishers. It is from their Thieme Test Prep Series. It has content presented in the form of questions which makes it easy to revise before exams and also present the same on paper. Keeping the new MCQ patterned exam in mind , it also has MCQs after each topic. The only con which I can say is that it has Black and White images which can sometimes be difficult to understand and monotonous
