good book, was waiting for new books to come to the market, completely new look at the curriculum, wondering if its sufficient for medical graduates. New short forms are used, however i discourage my students to use short forms, which is extensively used in the book.

Biochemistry review with clinical correlations is one of the best biochemistry review books I have come across. This book comes with a supplementary flowchart booklet. The content is very crisp and to the point. The book has a lot of web diagrams which have proved to be a saviour. These diagrams make complex stuff really easy to understand. .The clinical correlations is one of the best things of this book. The clinical problems have proper reasons and examples and almost every clinical problem is covered in this book . The supplementary flowchart booklet is absolutely amazing for rapid revision of concepts and metabolic cycles.Every cycle is very well detailed and explained with every possible reason. There are a lot of flowcharts, illustrations , tables ,bullet points which increases the impact of a topic. In my view this book along with MCQs practice will be enough for preparing for NEET-PG biochemistry.

Biochemical review with clinical correlations has essentially been a wonderful guide for me during my exams when I could rapidly go through the highlighted points and the comparison charts. I enjoyed reading the metabolism chapters containing diagrams and flowchats. The point wise mentioning of the incidence rate, cause , symptoms, mechanism, types, as well as diagnosis and treatment under a certain disease, it helps me to correlate even in 2nd year while I read the clinical symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of a certain disease in pathology for. The most beautiful aspect of this book is the clinical correlation boxes. It comes with supplementary flowcharts which comes really handy while I am gong to attend a quiz when I can just go through the flowcharts in a very short time. I would highly recommend this book to others if they want to go over their syllabus in a very comprehensive and profitable manner in a short time .

Simmi Kharab's -Biochemistry Review with Clinical Correlations is an outstanding book in the field of biochemistry. I've studied other biochemistry books, but the way this one is presented helps me to revise the material simply and consistently. The clinical correlation section is well presented and highlighted which helps me grasp the altered biochemistry in humans and it is the best aspect of the book. The subjects are broken down clearly and concisely. All theoretical discussions are fully supported by many tables and pictures. Another unique feature of this book is the competency code numbers for topics. Must read out chapters of the book are xenobiotics and bioinformatics. The Supplementary Flowcharts Booklet is the best part of the book which contains a complete listing of all flowcharts from all chapters. There is no other book on the market with all of these qualities, making this one of a kind in the subject of biochemistry.
