The book is very comprehensive about the various head injury topics including cranial nerve injury. The author presents his research and experience in very lucid language and aims to transfer the surgical nuances to the reader. The book comprise of various case reports, well explained radiology (mainly CAT scan) and surgical tricks from operation room set up, patient positioning, planning of skin incision and surgical nuances. Highly recommended to young neurosurgeons and residents alike.

Neurosurgical knowledge is incomplete without reading this book. It provides details technical aspects of different graft harvesting methods, excellent discription on surgical method of subdural management with comparison with different available modalities. It covers all aspects of head injury which was not covered by many great books.

Nothing is more faithful than a beautiful book. After reading many national and international neurosurgical books, i can say that this one is an excellent. The way author explained the technical aspects of neurosurgery, is fabulous. Author explained every minor steps of surgery starting from position, skin marking and flap elevation till skin closer. Important Highlights- 1- Burr hole points and justification 2- Detail discussion about layer wise dissection of scalp. 3- All original HD images. 4- Case wise discussion. 5- Beautiful explanation of SDH surgery. I personally believe that one day it will be considered as one of the great contribution in the history of Neurosurgery.
