Seminars in Speech and Language (SSL) is a peer-reviewed journal that covers the entire spectrum of speech-language pathology. Each published article, whether invited or openly submitted, serves as a seminar whereby readers are provided with learning outcomes that can be achieved through reading the article.
The mission of SSL is to improve speech language pathology services by helping professionals and pre-professionals in their career development and lifelong learning. Topics can include: theoretical questions or issues, diagnostic procedures, screening and assessment techniques, treatment protocols, intervention studies, service delivery, management practices, scholarship on teaching and learning. These can be across any area within the scope of practice for speech-language pathology.
2023 will be the final year that Seminars in Speech and Language offers CEU credits. Beginning in 2023 authors will no longer be required to include questions to support CEU activities. Seminars in Speech and Language will offer CEUs for articles published through 2023. This service will expire at the end of 2023. Please visit ASHA for alternative options.
