The Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery Open (JRMO) is an Open Access companion journal to the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. It publishes case reports and original research that bring new insight into reconstructive and regenerative techniques, surgical robotics and technology, and post- and pre-surgical therapies in microsurgery.

As an Open Access companion title to the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, this journal offers a new platform for the microsurgical community to publish and share cutting edge research and knowledge.

We welcome submissions on topics focusing on composite tissue allotransplantation, perforator flaps, nerve repair, nerve regeneration, breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, and complex hand surgery. New and controversial cases are also welcome. Our Open Access platform offers web-based submission for authors, expedited turn-around, and electronic publication. All articles undergo a rigorous peer review by international experts in the field.

JRMO requires that authors follow the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals. More information can be found here: https://www.icmje.org
