The International Journal of Practical Otolaryngology is the official journal of The Society of Practical Otolaryngology. It is an English language, peer reviewed, Open Access journal focusing on general otolaryngology, pediatric otolaryngology, otology/neurotology, rhinology, laryngology/bronchoesophagology, head and neck surgery, reconstructive surgery, and communicative disorders. Releasing two issues per year, each issue consists of original research, topical reviews, and short communications that have undergone an extensive evaluation and review process.

Currently, we only accept papers from members of The Society of Practical Otolaryngology.

The International Journal of Practical Otolaryngology is owned by The Society of Practical Otolaryngology and published by Thieme Medical Publishers.
