Hernia Management Pathway :An Algorithmic Approach to Hernia Assessment and Management
Hernia management is undergoing rapid transformation. There is an unprecedented surge in research and publications in the field. Evolving understanding, advanced technical skills, and familiarity with newer technologies are all driving it toward becoming a distinct specialty. This pace of change has placed immense pressure on surgeons, who often find themselves navigating a complex and constantly shifting
landscape.
To address this critical need, the editors developed a decision-making skills course that received resounding positive feedback. Participants reported enhanced understanding, greater confidence, and an improved ability to manage complex hernia cases. Hernia Management Pathway: An Algorithmic Approach to Hernia Assessment and Management brings together the nuanced insights and technical expertise of more than 30 internationally recognized hernia specialists.
This book distils evidence-based knowledge into a practical, decision-oriented framework. By synthesizing research, guidelines, operative techniques, and recent innovations, it provides a structured algorithmic
approach tailored to the needs of the modern surgeon. Designed for quick yet comprehensive reading, it serves as a one-stop resource to help surgeons stay current, make informed decisions, and
