About the Author :

Subhadra Devi Velichety, MS, FASI (Anatomy) is an Emeritus Professor at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and has been associated with S.V. Medical College, Tirupati. With over 45 years of teaching and research experience and 92 publications in national and international journals, she is a distinguished academic in the field of anatomy.

She has authored 15 anatomy textbooks covering gross anatomy, general anatomy, histology, and embryology. A recipient of the Andhra Pradesh State Meritorious Teacher's Award and Fellowship of the Anatomical Society of India (FASI, 2024), she also serves as the Honorary Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Anatomy and Research, Section Editor of the Journal of the Anatomical Society of India, and is a National Resource Person in Medical Education Technology and reviewer for the SWAYAM Project, Government of India.
